SOFA is excited for the Winter 2010 term! We have lots of great ideas and events planned.

This term, we are going to be focusing on fundraising for a new fridge for the ECH lounge. Want to know how to participate? Well, we’ll be selling pop and chips throughout the term at SOFA events, as well as in the 4th year studio from Laura or Carmen, or in the 3rd Year studio from Kristen. Also, we are planning on hosting photo sessions where you can have your artwork photographed for a small fee, or come support the ‘Male Auction’ in March, where UW men will be putting themselves up for auction as dates for the 4th year show and party. All proceeds from these sales/events will go towards the new fridge.

First event of the term: “(this event has)… Nothing To Do With Furniture”
This event will be another meet and greet type event, where SOFA members will introduce themselves as well as talk about what’s happening in the upcoming term. There will also be free cheese and pepperoni pizzas.
